A few honest words on ramp-up
Rapido is a growing startup. The top-tier numbers above (Rs 45k+ a month) are real — but they typically take at least 3 months to reach as your routes, customer base and delivery flow build up. New drivers usually start at Normal or Good tier and grow from there. We'd rather tell you this upfront than have you join with the wrong expectation.

Same flow every day. Predictable, structured, and supported by the driver app.
Pick up your parcels
Start at the hub, collect the parcels assigned for your route, and check quantity + condition before you head out.
Plan your route
Use the driver app to plan an efficient delivery + pickup loop across your zone for the day.
Deliver to customers
Call the customer when needed, deliver on time, and stay polite and professional at every stop.
Handle COD safely
Collect cash or Juice payments on COD orders, log every transaction in the app, and keep the cash secure.
Pickups from merchants
Stop at scheduled merchant pickups, label and document each parcel, and bring them back for dispatch.
End-of-day handover
Return to the hub by 6pm, hand over undelivered parcels, COD cash, transaction records and new pickups.

A predictable week
Same hours every day, one fixed day off, no surprises.
Mon – Sat, 9am – 6pm
Six working days a week, one full day off. Overtime is occasional, pre-approved, and paid as per Mauritius labour law.
Rs 4,000 attendance bonus
Show up consistently and on time, and you earn the full attendance bonus every month — paid alongside your salary. Certified sick leave doesn't affect it.
Requirements
What you need to apply
Short and simple. No previous delivery experience needed — we train every new driver on the route, app and COD process.
Valid driving licence
Automatic or manual — both work.
National ID + Character certificate
National ID original is required. Character certificate is also needed — but if you don't have one yet, you can still apply: just be willing to apply for one and we'll guide you through the process.
Android phone
Required for the driver app — routes, COD logging and live earnings.
An eligible vehicle
A small van or a spacious car with real cargo space — see the eligible vehicles below. Bring registration, insurance and road declaration to the interview.
Bring originals of your documents to the interview — we make copies on file.

Which vehicles qualify
Your vehicle needs to carry a full day of parcels safely. Here's what works — the fleet team confirms suitability at the interview.
Small van
A small cargo or panel van is ideal — the enclosed load space keeps parcels secure and dry, with room for a full day of deliveries.
Spacious cars
A car works if it has real cargo room — a large boot or fold-down rear seats that can hold a full day of parcels. Small two-door cars aren't suitable for the parcel volume.
LPG-converted gets priority
Vehicles converted to LPG (gas) are given priority selection — they keep running costs low and let us keep more drivers on the road.
